As part of its campaign to reach out to the public, the Trinamool Congress leadership started the third phase of 'Didi Ke Bolo' on Wednesday.  West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee addresses Trinamool activist as 'Didi'.

Trinamool sources said that according to the list provided by the Trinamool, the party's block presidents were seen visiting previously identified villages and urban residences and having informal meetings with party members there.  More than 600 blocks and city presidents of the party have been directed to visit 2,000 villages and municipal wards of the state under the first third phase.

Under this, Trinamool leaders will have dinner at the party member's house and interact with party members and booth level workers and they will also spend the night at the house of the party member or supporter.  Impressed by the reaction of the earlier preceding phases, the Trinamool announced the launch of its third phase on Tuesday.  This program provides a platform for people to lodge complaints directly with the Chief Minister.  On July 29, Banerjee released a helpline number and a website didikebolo.com as part of the public relations program on the advice of election strategist Prashant Kishore.  Trinamool appointed Prashant Kishore after the election results in the Lok Sabha were not favorable.
