Two weeks ago, a 14-year-old rape victim gave birth to a baby girl in a hospital bathroom in Shakurpur. Now the victim's minor elder sister has also given birth to the child in the hospital. After which it was revealed that a person was continuously raping by threatening the elder sister as well. Like the younger sister, the elder sister also had a stomachache. On being brought to the hospital, it was found that he was pregnant. Shortly afterwards she gave birth to a child.
A call was made to the police from the hospital. The local police along with Lady Constable reached the hospital and the girl was counseled. It was learned that the accused named Nizamuddin was raping and intimidating him. Subhash Place Police immediately took action and registered the case under the section of rape and poxo and arrested the accused.
According to police, the 17-year-old victim lives in Shakurpur area with her family. The family consists of parents, two sisters and a brother. The parents work in the factory. They leave for work every morning and return home in the evening. The victim told the police that Nizamuddin raped her several times after intimidating her. Significantly, two weeks before this, her 14-year-old younger sister was exposed to the rape. The accused named Mughal was raping her. The police has already arrested him. She was also pregnant, but she did not know about it for a long time.
She and the family came to know after reaching the hospital after a stomach ache and she gave birth to the baby girl in the hospital bathroom. Currently both sisters and children are healthy. Those have been handed over to NGOs.
DCP Vijayanta Arya said that both the accused have been arrested by registering a case in the case of poxo and related sections in the case of rape involving both sisters. There is enough evidence against these. Chargesheet will be filed in this case very soon. Counseling of both girls is going on.
