North Korea has tested two missiles in the East Sea on Tuesday. The South Korean military said these were short-range ballistic missiles.
The test is believed to be a demonstration of strength against the US-South Korea military exercise that began Monday. The report, quoted by the Joint Chief of Staff (JCS), told the news agency Yonhap that these tests were done at 5.24 am and 5.36 pm in North Korea's Qualifying town of South Hwanghai province.
According to JCS, the maximum height of the missiles was 37 kilometers and the maximum speed was 6.9 meters. JCS said, "South Korea and American intelligence agencies believe that these short-range missiles are similar to the missiles launched by North Korea on July 25." He said, "In order to be more vigilant in the situation of additional launch, The army is alert."
