Congress leader in the Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury compared Kashmir issue similar to Hitler's Nazi camp. He also questioned the stopping of Amarnath Yatra and asked "why the pilgrimage of thousands of Hindu devotees has been stopped?"
The Congress MP called out at the government on the situation in Kashmir and said, ''Prime Minister, you had announced from the Red Fort that we would not take the Kashmiris forward by hugging them with a bullet. Today, the situation in Kashmir has become like a Nazi camp. Neither there is a mobile connection nor there is no internet, no one is aware of what is happening there. Amarnath devotees could not go on the journey. Till date, it has never happened in Kashmir that Hindu devotees could not go on Amarnath Yatra."
Chaudhary expressed concern over the situation in Kashmir and questioned the sudden deployment of paramilitary in the valley . He said," The government should remove confusion. I think it is not right for a powerful country like India to create this environment. Kashmir should be opened to all. Why is this happening in a clandestine manner? "
Chaudhary had made a scathing attack on the government regarding the situation in Kashmir at the Parliament .
