Protesting so far with Article 370, Nitish Kumar's party JDU has now taken a U-turn in this matter. Senior JDU leader and Rajya Sabha MP RCP Singh has said bluntly that it has become a law and the law applies in the entire country. In such a situation, all of us should follow it. Singh said that now all of us should be with the central government on this issue.
RCP Singh, considered very close to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, also made it clear why the party opposed the proposal in Parliament. He said, 'Our late leader George Fernandes had said that we will not support any disputed proposal. It also includes issues like triple talaq and Ram temple. In this way, we are opposing these matters. But, since it has become law now, then there is no point of protest. Now we have to stand with the center.
