Former New Zealand captain Brandon McCallum will retire from all forms of competitive cricket after the end of Global T20 Canada. McCallum, playing for the Toronto Nationals, retired from all forms of international cricket in 2016, but was playing in T20 leagues around the world. The 37-year-old scored 6453 runs in 101 Tests, recording 12 centuries.
His highest score is 302 runs. He scored 6083 runs in 260 ODIs, including five centuries. Apart from this, he scored 2140 runs in 71 T20 Internationals. McCallum released the official statement on his Twitter page.
He said, "I am today proudly and proudly announcing my retirement from all forms of cricket after the end of GT20 Canada. I will not play in the Euro T20 slam and I thank the organizers for their support and understanding of my decision. '
