Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad has appointed coach Trevor Bayliss as the world's champion for England. He will replace Australian coach Tom Moody. On Thursday, the team announced the appointment of Bayliss as coach on social media. Bayliss is associated with the England team and after the Ashes series his term is ending.

The duration of the contract of Baylis has not been disclosed. The franchisee also thanked Moody for his contribution. Sunrisers said in their statement, "We want to thank Tom Moody, whose coach team has achieved 5 playoffs in the last 7 years. The team also became the IPL Champion in 2016. Sunrisers's team was in fourth place after losing to Delhi Capitals in the IPL-2015 Eliminator.
