All the parties had given full power to campaigning to win elections. The whole country is eyeing the Amethi Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh. This is the traditional seat of Congress. Congress President Rahul Gandhi has been winning the Lok Sabha election from here. Although this election seems difficult enough for them.
This time in Amethi, BJP has fielded Union Minister Smriti Irani against Rahul Gandhi. In the trend of counting votes, Smriti Irani, Rahul Gandhi, is running behind with nearly 1700 votes. Earlier, Smriti took the lead by 5000 votes. Rahul Gandhi and Smriti Irani are facing a thorn in the competition.
On the other hand, Samajwadi Party's Lok Sabha candidate and Shatrughan Sinha's wife Poonam Sinha, in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow constituency is running behind with more than four thousand votes. Poonam is the leader of the BJP and Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Rajnath Singh is a current MP.
Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has represented Lucknow seat in the Lok Sabha elections. Lal G Tandon in 2009 and Rajnath Singh in 2014 had won this seat with heavy votes. This time BJP has again brought Rajnath Singh from Lucknow.
Jaya Prada is leading the Rampur Lok Sabha seat with around 2400 votes. He is giving a tough fight to Samajwadi party candidate Azam Khan. Jaya Prada came to worship on Baba Lakshman Samadhi on Wednesday evening for the wished victory. The photographs of his worship text have also surfaced on social media. Jaya Prada also has full confidence in her victory. He also claimed BJP's 55 seats in Uttar Pradesh.
