In the initial trends of the counting of the Lok Sabha elections ending in seven phases, the NDA has got a lot of enthusiasm in the stock market. Sensex index, based on the BSE's 31 firms, rose 551.67 points (1.41%) to open at 39,661.88. On the other hand, the Sensex-based Nifty based on the 50-share National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose by 163.40 points (1.39%) to 11.901.30
Earlier, on May 20, after the signal of meeting the exit of exit poll, the Sensex index of 31 stocks of BSE had made a 10-year record. In the one-day business, the Sensex's 1421.90 points (3.75%) were the first to do so in the last 10 years. On the other hand, the Sensex of 50 stocks of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) closed at 421.10 points (3.69%) at 39,352.67 and 11,828.25, respectively. Shares of nearly 40 companies on BSE touched a high of 52 weeks.
