After several years of continuous broadcast, the TV show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" Has been canceled. After the year 2002, the show had been broadcast for 17 years continuously. This English show from the International version was being telecast on ABC Channel. According to a report, "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire will not return to the 2019-20 season after a successful broadcast of 17 years."
The show is produced by the Valleycrest Production and its distribution is responsible for ABC Home Entertainment and TV Distribution. The show was first run on ABC's prime time slot in 1999, and was aired continuously until 2002. The show's host was Rhys Philbin, which the audience liked very well. After that Meredith Vieira hosted the show until 2013.
After 2015, the show is hosted by Terry Crews and Chris Harrison. Hindi version of the show is broadcasted on Sony Entertainment Television in India. Indian show host Bollywood's Amitabh Bachchan In the English version where so many hosts have changed for the show so far, only two people have hosted this show in India.
