Piaggio presented his Aprilia Storm 125 during the 2018 auto expo and was preparing to launch this scooter last year. However, for some unknown reasons, its date has been moving forward. However if you are thinking about buying Storm 125 then you have a good news.
According to information from sources, this Aprilia Storm 125 will be launched in India next month. Bookings in selected Aprilia dealerships have already been started for this scooter. For this, the token amount has been kept at Rs 1,000. The price of Storm 125 will be Rs 65,000 (ex-showroom) for the Indian market. In this way, it will be the cheapest scooter in Aprilia in the Indian market.
Storm 125 is based on SR 125 and it has been taken on the style and pattern of SR 125. However, the biggest difference is that in the Storm 125, 12-inch wheels have been replaced instead of 14-inch wheels given in SR 125. Also in the Storm 125, off-road rubber has also been used.
Speaking of mechanical specifications, this scooter will get 125cc single-cylinder motor just like the SR 125. These engines will generate 9.6PS power and 9.9Nm pickup torque. For breaking, there will be a disc in front and a drum brake in the rear. CBS will be given in this scooter.
Speaking of the competition, the scooter will be competing with scooters like TVS Ntorq 125 and Honda Grazia after coming to the Indian market.
