Dayadra Mandal,Kolkata:

Taking the prediction of hung result in the Lok Sabha elections, CM Kamal Nath of Madhya Pradesh said that the Congress will perform very well, but the Congress does not seem to get a majority on its own. Therefore, the coalition is necessary after the election for the new government. The Congress veteran said that the ruling BJP will not be successful in coming to power. Because he will not get enough seats and neither is going to combine with BJP.

On average, how many seats will the party win and will combine to come to power? In response, Kamal Nath said that of course we are going to do very well, but we are not seeing ourselves reaching the majority. After the election there will be coalition. This coalition will be a mix of many types.

During a conversation at his residence, Kamal Nath said that if the alliance is there, the coalition will take a decision. There are two types of environment- one against BJP and another BJP supporter. The number of BJP supporters is very low and you are seeing that the entire political scenario is anti-BJP. They said that whatever number will be seen so will be seen. The BJP is expected to form a government at the Center, but it is a distant one. Neither will he get enough seats nor will he make any alliance with him.

When asked by the Chief Minister that if his party is formed, will Congress President Rahul Gandhi be PM? On this, he said that of course, if we have the numbers Rahul Gandhi would be the Prime Minister. Talking about the minimum income guarantee scheme 'justice' of the Congress party, Kamal Nath said that giving 72,000 rupees per year to the poor people is a revolutionary scheme. With this 50 million families will come out of poverty. They said that we will do it easily because we have the resources. The question is of allocation of resources only.

CM said that the raids of the income tax department on the complexes related to his colleagues were inspired by politics. On April 7 in Delhi and Madhya Pradesh, raids were carried out at 52 locations. Kamalnath's former special duty officer Praveen Kakkar, advisor Rajendra Mangalani and his relatives were raided in many places. The assets related to Ashwani Sharma, allegedly close to Kankar, were also brought under the scanner in this operation. He said that where did the Prime Minister say about the raids? I do not know that person (Ashwani Sharma), he never met me and told me in the media that he is from BJP. In his statement, he said that he is with the BJP, why is it being linked to him? I do not know.

The Congress veteran also accused the central government of using agencies for political purposes. He said, did not get anything from Kakad's campus? The Income Tax Department did not make any claims. If they get anything then they can record it. Kamal Nath has dismissed the claims of the Income Tax Department finding the extensive organized racket worth Rs. 281 crores as fraudulent.
