As Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman received all the appreciation for the bravery we forgot there were many names of those who had the hand in making the strike successful.
Among these names was also a female squadron leader, who had given her full support to the success of the attack with her reflex and extraordinary vigilance.
The name of the lady squadron leader has not been revealed and may never shall be , abiding by security, but her bravery will surely be honoured by the Indian Air Force.
According to sources , the names of all the soldiers involved in the air strike have been recommended for the Air Force special service medal.
