Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi, who had gone on a campaign to demand a vote on her brother and party president Rahul Gandhi in Kerala on Saturday, the former Union minister and Congress leader S K Krishna Kumar from Kerala joined the BJP. In the BJP headquarters in Delhi, party leader Anil Baluni and Shahnawaz Hussain joined the 80-year-old Krishna Kumar in the party. Kumar said that Modi is working for the development of India and he should continue to lead the country. Krishan Kumar has been a Lok Sabha member three times during 1980 and 1990 and was also a minister in the then Congress government of the Center. Krishna Kumar, who joined BJP, said, "In my part of my life, my aim is to PM Modi Has to strengthen the hands. I think that people of India should give mandate to Modi not only for 5 years but for next 10 years. Modi will modernize the country and will move forward. '

Significantly, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Saturday held a rally for Rahul Gandhi in Wayanad, Kerala. During this, he said that the Modi government made false promises to the people and ignored the farmers of the country. Priyanka reached Wayanad demanding votes for her elder brother and Congress president Rahul Gandhi. Rahul is also contesting from his traditional parliamentary constituency Amethi and in Wayanad constituency of Kerala. During the election campaign, Priyanka said that Modi government has betrayed the farmers, but if the UPA government is formed in the center then they will be able to help the farmers.
