Dayadra Mandal, Kolkata:
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is annoyed by the notice of BCCI's Lokpal DK Jain, sending a notice to legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman. Actually, DK Jain has sent a notice on Wednesday and as a member of the Board's Advisory Committee (CAC), he has asked for clarification regarding joining the IPL teams. However, the BCCI officials are not happy with this.
The Lokpal has given this notice after the allegation of the life member of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) Sanjeev Gupta, in which he has accused Sachin and Laxman of violating Rule 38 of BCCI Constitution.
Speaking to the news agency, IANS, an official of the BCCI said that Sachin, Sourav Ganguly and Laxman have been made an unnecessary target and therefore it shows that the new Constitution of the Board to see the conflicts of interest again needed.
He said, "These cases tell us what kind of confusion about the conflict of interest in the BCCI Constitution. When a certain person was targeted, nobody was troubled. It seemed like it was not as if there was any connection with the rest of the world because it was taking care of a fixed group. Now you have the same rules which, if implemented, great batsmen like Sachin and Laxman can be deprived of scoring young players and preventing Indian cricket from serving them in many ways. They said, 'Confused It is that Sachin has to pay it. The COA has not used its services so far and it has also looked at Sachin's advice in the committee which is part of it, because the functioning of the committee of which they are members is already question marks. When you stop players such as Sachin, Laxman and Sourav they do damage to Indian cricket. '
Agreeing on the matter, another officer of the board said, "It is not that those who are employed and whose conflict of interest is not clear, they are not providing benefits to the people. You see the appointment of trainers and trainers. The absence of a transparent system can not be said about the appointments made as ad-hoc. GM's appointment was also made in theft and conflicts, this is also an issue. According to the report, the trainer of the Indian team is connected to the training organization of his family and plays a vital role in the recruitment of trainers. Sachin, Sourav and Laxman have been made an unnecessary target so that they can bear the full load. '
Earlier, Jain had met the Delhi Capitals consultant Saurabh because there were complaints about the conflict of interest against him too. After the three-and-a-half-hour meeting, Jain had asked for a reply in writing from all sides.
