In a ghastly incident a minor girl's body was found inside a public toilet at Nehru Nagar area in Vile Parle, Mumbai on Saturday morning.

The 9 year old was allegedly raped, killed and disposed of in a drain by a man who lived in a chawl adjacent to the area.

The Police said a missing complaint was filed against the man at Juhu police station and has been arrested immediately after.

The accused was booked under IPC sections 302 (murder), 376 (rape) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the police added.
