A new Interim Domestic Terminal was launched in the Rajiv Gandhi International in Hyderabad. The inauguration of it occurred last Saturday.
It has a area of about 4000 square metres. It is situated in the east of the existing passenger terminal building. This new building has wondering facilities. It has 4 long baggage carousel belts of about 45 metres in length.
The building has advanced passenger accommodation facilities. With vast space for the customs. The sitting arrangements are inside a huge hall with luxurious ambience.
It is designed to handle 50 percent of the domestic arrival traffic. Handling near about 30,000 customers daily. It has a wide corridor with two 26 metres length inclinators.
