Mrinal Kanti Debnath has been declared as BJP candidate from Barasat Lok Sabha constituency. After the announcement many BJP leaders gathered in his house today to congratulate him and to plan for the next election campaign.

In everyone's presence he assured that in the coming days, he is committed to serve the common man. He described it as a part of his life. Mrinal Kanti used to work as a sweeper in a bus, after which he became the owner of the bus and then became a doctor and later came to politics.

He said he will walk to the grassroot level to discuss how he can help people in the society and how they can help everyone to resolve the existing issues. They  assured that the vote in the forthcoming elections will be on the BJP side and the BJP will win.
