The political parties have begun campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections in the state after the list of candidates have been announced. Shyamaprasad Halder is the selected BJP candidate from Mathura Lok Sabha constituency yesterday. Meanwhile, many BJP protesters protested against him.
Kisan Morcha chairman Gautam Nasarkar protested against Shyamaprasad along with the BJP supporters in Kulpi.
The protesters threatened that if the candidate does not change then they will boycott the voting process.
On the other hand, BJP workers organized a conference at Mandir Bazar.
BJP candidate of Mathura Lok Sabha constituency Shyam Prasad Haldar, BJP District President Abhijit Das and Vice President Suffel Ghetto were present. They also organized a procession after the meeting.
Abhijit Das said that their fight is against Trinamool and they want to corruption free state.
When asked about the opposition of the newly-elected candidate, he denied such occurrences . He added, " But if anyone has complains then I will definitely meet him."
