After the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama, France has got the support of India's efforts to isolate Pakistan at the international level. In the past, France's government sources informed that France proposed to ban Jaish-e-Mohammad in the United Nations. After this diplomatic assassination against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, India and France are considering other options to put pressure on Pakistan.
There is a news that a similar proposal can be presented in the UN against JeM gangster Masood Azhar along with his brother Abdul Rauf Asgar and other JeM commanders.
According to sources , the government is also preparing dossiers to ban Asghar, accused of the Pathankot attack along with Jaish-e-Mohammad's gangster Masood Azhar.
We are yet to see if Asgar and other Jaish terrorists will be proposed separately for inclusion in the list pertaining to the UN Committee Section 1267, or their name will be included in the proposal to be presented for Azhar.
