After the Pulwama suicide attack, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and the Chiefs of the three Armed forces will hold key meetings with the brief on India's deployment in 42 countries, on Monday. Sources reported that a Defense briefcase will be  brought in by officers who are associated with the Indian Embassy abroad , who also look into Defence matters.
This Conclave, which is expected to last for 2 days is a mandatory requirement while tension is brewing in both sides of the border. On February 14 in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama, the CRPF convoy was attacked by a suicide bomber from Jaish-e-Mohammed, a Pakistan-based terrorist organization, in which 40 jawans were martyred. After the Pulwama attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that the security forces have been given an open rebate to respond to this attack.
A military official said, "The meeting will discuss all issues including the situation on the Pakistan border. Apart from this, the government will take some feedback from the Defense briefcase about some important security challenges. "
Sources said India's "Defense briefcase" posted in Pakistan and Afghanistan will also participate in this Conclave. According to sources, discussions on the situation of India-China border in the Conclave as well as geopolitical issues related to India's neighborhood are possible.
