Tamil Nadu information technology minister M Manikandan on Tuesday announced in the assembly that he would request the state government for ban on TikTok. TikTok which has a huge user base in India & also increasing popularity much faster than other competitors has opened the gates for hate speech on the platform, also in TikTok there are no Copyright options available .
