As an aftermath of the suicide attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama, India today carried out air strikes on a terror camp of Jaish-e Mohammed across the Line of Control at around 3:30am in the morning.
Verification of the strikes came only after a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security, messages of support flowed in from opposition leaders since morning. Congress chief Rahul Gandhi made his move in the morning, tweeting, "I salute the pilots of the IAF".
His party too, lauded the Air Force, appreciating its role in keeping the people safe. "We salute the @IAF_MCC for their consistent & determined effort to keep Indians safe. Jai Hind," the Congress posted on its official Twitter handle.
