Nearly 90 kilometers from Tamil Nadu, 25 Sri Lankan fishermen have been arrested for fishing in Indian Maritime Boundary in Nagapattinam while five boats have been seized. Since the terrorist attacks in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, the Coast Guard is keeping an eye on every activity. In a statement, the Coast Guard said that there were 4200 kilogram tuna fish on the boats. They were illegally caught by the Indian Special Economic Zone.

According to the statement, all the boats seized have been brought to Karachi dock by the concerned agencies for joint investigation. According to the Coast Guard, fishermen were arrested on Monday.
