12 people died, out of which 5 were from the same family. The police with the help of the locals admitted everyone to the nearest district hospital , where 12 were declared dead and one suffering from critical injuries.
This incident took place late last night near Ramgarh in Ujjain. According to the reports, a car involved in the accident was returning from the marriage program. Then, at around one o'clock in the night, he got hit by the car coming from the front. According to sources, the collision was so sharp that the van went 50 meters away and flew to it. All the dead were aboard the van. With the airbags in the second car, the survivors of it were saved.
About 5 people of the same family were killed in the accident in the van. It is also suspected of involvement of 2-3 children. Local people informed the police after the incident. With the help of people, the police carried the injured to a nearby hospital. It is reported that among the dead, the BJP's former divisional chief minister Arjun Kait was also involved.
