Pakistan : Global Watchdog The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is monitoring its monitoring area to monitor terrorism funding. Now FATF will also oversee terrorist organizations besides states which promote or support terrorism. In a public statement issued after its recent October plenary, FATF has said that for the first time, it will monitor the states that fund terrorism. This move of FATF will also affect Pakistan, which is included in the Gray List of the Task Force in the month of June for not taking action against terrorist funding.
FATF acknowledges in the public statement that funding of terrorism by any state is still not in line with its criteria. The task force has said that ISIL will remain vigilant towards new risks related to the financing of Al Qaeda and related organizations.

It is believed that after the withdrawal of Afghanistan from Afghanistan, Pakistan may come under the pressure of other Taliban and other terrorist organizations like Haqqani network.
