As a large and responsible pharmaceutical exporter, we are sending India HCQ and Paracetamol on humanitarian and commercial basis to the countries of the world. According to Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava, India is sending five million tablets to neighboring countries, IOR countries, Africa, Latin America, Central Asia, Eurasia and West Asia and North Africa countries. We have given 1.32 million paracetamol tablets to neighboring countries.
Apart from these medicines, many more life-saving antibiotics, some more medicines, and machines for labs and hospitals have also been given. India's total medical aid is worth five million US dollars.
India has given 285 million HCQ tablets to forty countries and 500 million paracetamol tablets to sixty countries commercially. The spokesman also said that the requests received for the Rapid Response Team were also heard immediately. This team consists of doctors, nurses, and paramedics. So far, they have been sent to Kuwait and Maldives and have helped the local medical teams.
Anurag Shrivastava also said that the Kovid 19 Control Room, which started on 24 March of the Ministry of External Affairs, which started on 16 March, has responded to 3,000 phone calls, 25 thousand emails till 8 pm on 23 April.
